Job Description:
Our Swindon High Street Head Office and Distribution Centre is looking for a Electrical Technician to join the team. Working with a team of engineers, you will undertake maintenance tasks on our diverse Greenbridge property.
Job Responsibilities:
- To respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely service
- To undertake minor installation works such as lighting and small power installations
- To cover all maintenance of electrical distribution, controls, lighting, emergency systems, building services plant room electrical systems.
- To provide Electrical H&S and compliance engineering
- To support the other members of the maintenance team with ad-hoc tasks across all disciplines
- To undertake works on the BMS, power supply, lighting, power generation, HVAC, UPS, A/C units, etc
- To undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on electrical, control, basic mechanical and building fabric systems
- To carryout fault finding on systems up to 415v
Job Requirements:
- Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally
- Be 18th edition qualified and have experience of BS2391 or BS2394 and BS2395;
- Proven building maintenance experience within a commercial environment
- Experience of single and three phase electrical systems
- 17th / 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
- PPM and reactive maintenance experience
- Recognised professional qualification e.g. City & Guilds 2360/2330 Electrical Installation Part 1 & 2
- Strong planning and workload management skills with the ability to manage short term and long term activities to agreed deadlines
