Job Description: With exciting and ambitious international growth plans the Group is looking strengthen its FP&A capability by appointing a high-calibre, technically strong, Group Head of FP&A. This is a key appointment with broad exposure to senior management and the CFO. Job Responsibilities: Take the lead on enhancement, standardisation and automation of budgeting and planning processes across the Group, with a view to delivering agile reporting, robust financial controls, data integrity and accuracy. Provide analysis, insight and informative reporting as required by the Group CFO and Group Finance Director to support and influence business decisions. Ownership of reporting and forecasting for several Group holding entities and management and forecasting of Group share-based payment expenses. Keep up to date with applicable industry and economic trends and how they may impact the business. Responsibility for ad hoc projects such as acquisition due diligence, EPS modelling etc. Responsibility for overall coordination and consolidation of Group budgeting and forecasting for Board-level reporting; liaising with divisional finance teams to ensure delivery of accurate and timely information. Take an active role in the implementation of new processes around IFRS 16 forecasting and planning. Take a proactive approach to reporting, system and process improvements to enhance effectiveness and efficiency across the finance function. Support the Investor relations team with compiling analysts consensus data and producing ad hoc analysis. Support the Group reporting team in the production of Year end & Interim Results and Subsidiary statutory accounts – particularly in areas such as impairment modelling and going concern. Job Requirements: Have excellent analytical skills and good double entry essential, as well as strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Be highly organised and excel at leading processes and managing virtual teams Have experience of managing and delivering projects to tight deadlines. Be a strong communicator and excel at creating clear presentations, reports and financial analysis Qualification & Experience: Experience of the requirements of IFRS 2 Share-based payment desirable. Experience of listed company reporting, preferably within a group function, is preferred. Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP, and experience of multi-currency consolidation essential.
