Job Description:
We are now looking for an Communications & Workload Analyst to join our Central Operations team in our Swindon Head Office supporting the communication tools and delivery to our stores, the Central Operations team members and also supporting analysis and development of our Work Labour Model (WLM).
Job Responsibilities:
- You’ll support our Central Operations team with staff wage cost calculations and provide context and commentary on “what if” scenario’s, to provide an end result from specific scenarios or proposed store changes. You’ll also support the bi-annual budgeting process for our stores payroll, working closely with Finance, Payroll and Operations to provide accurate, detailed specific payroll budget allocations across our store estate. You’ll do this through our Work Labour Model, a workforce planning model that calculates the cost and time associated with tasks in store.
- As the Communications & Workload Analyst you will provide support to KPI & communication tools and workload reports to stores, Area Managers / and head office stakeholders providing insights and analytical commentary to identify trends and themes.
- Providing support for the Work Labour Model (WLM) you’ll be responsible for maintaining the attributes within the model and ensuring the data and store list information within the model is accurate and up to date. Using the work labour model you will provide accurate reporting and work force planning output, to support the “what if” scenarios as well as the business budgeting cycles.
Job Requirements:
- What‘s essential is exceptional analytical skills with the ability to confidently articulate information and make recommendations to business stakeholders. You’ll will be a confident Excel user (Calculations and V Lookups minimum) with a keen interest in delving into the detail to deliver meaningful insights and actions / recommendations.
- You’ll be a natural problem solver, who is highly organised, can effectively manage a busy workload across key topics and be able to meet tight deadlines within a fast paced environment. Finally you’ll need to be able to engage with stakeholders of all seniority, and be a credible articulate communicator who can influence and persuade where appropriate.
