Job Responsibilities: Overgoods Deletion Requests: Overgoods specialist owns the Overgoods Deletion Requests mailbox and have responsibility to ensure that Overgoods incidents/tracking numbers that are invalid and not shipped Cross Functional Communication: Overgoods specialist works with UPS Security, Business Development and GBS operations to resolve customer concerns and assist with Overgoods related concerns and issues. Specialist produce weekly communications to Security regarding Overgoods trends, firearm concerns, and other pertinent Overgoods information. They work closely with GBS Overgoods regarding any void concerns and customer issues Overgoods ID Administration: Overgoods specialist is responsible for assisting districts with adding, deleting, and managing ARES IDs Claim Resolution / PCR Finds: Overgoods specialist oversees internal processes to return Overgoods packages and void claims. Specialist complete the new claim avoidance processes by pulling weekly PCR reports for all loss package claims. These reports are reviewed and researched to locate missing merchandise and void existing claims Destruction Oversight: Overgoods specialist is responsible to ensure that firearms, prescription drugs, personal items, and medical devices are properly destroyed upon maturity. These destructions ensure that UPS is within all regulatory guidelines destruction. These destructions also ensure that customer’s personal items are properly disposed of Overgoods Security / Fraud Protection: Overgoods specialist oversees audits to check for fraudulent voids from the GBS PI sites, analyze Overgoods information to assist and coordinate with local Security teams on Known Overgood theft concerns, work with Vendor management to protect UPS assets, and assist the UPS Fraud team to resolve Fraud Intercepts Job Requirements: Experience with Overgoods system and procedures preferable.
