Job Description:
We’re looking for a marketing attribution expert to drive partnership and strategic thinking across multiple departments and agencies. We need someone who can think offline and online, probabilistic and deterministic, while balancing realism and innovation. We value a critical thinker, who can build trust and understanding in future-forward and incrementality-driven budget scenarios, through all levels of our organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leverages project management skills to meet objectives within necessary timelines
- Works across State Farm technology, financial, and marketing departments while coordinating with media agencies
- Persuades, encourages, and gains the support of key stakeholders, including executive
- Designs ROI-based scenarios and budget recommendations based on historical and future-forward algorithmic models
- Demonstrates ability to interpret and communicate complex concepts in ways that match overall business and strategic story
- Identifies risks and surfaces opportunities through scenario-based planning
- Trains current and new attribution tool users in both strategic and technical knowledge
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated results of discovering strategic data possibilities and applying them to company outcomes
- Real-world experience optimizing budget allocation across multiple marketing channels
- Familiarity with brand metrics and how they are similar and different to ROI-based metrics
- Change management and communication expertise across multiple levels, including executive
- Proven experience interpreting and applying results of marketing attribution modeling (marketing mix modeling, multi-touch attribution)
- Knowledge of Ad/MarTech concepts and technologies
- Familiarity with buying, execution, and strategy across marketing channels and capabilities
Qualification & Experience:
- 3+ years industry experience as Marketing technology / attribution / data analyst, 5+ years with related degree, 7+ years of data science if lacking marketing background
- BA or BS in a quantitative field (marketing, business analytics, economics, computer science, finance, etc)
