Job Description: As a Warehouse Print Room Associate, you will utilize data entry skills to prepare and/or print tickets and monitor productivity reports to track individual, department and production goals. You’ll monitor the order queue and control workflow through waving, releasing, manual sorting, prioritizing and delivering while balancing the needs of multiple departments within the warehouse. Job Responsibilities: In addition, you will clean and maintain and monitor printers on the floor and in the print room, stock printers and supplies, monitor supply usage and alert management to concerns. You will be essential to the success of Staples Supply Chain as we deliver to our customers. Safety is our utmost priority so, in this role, we will look to you to ensure safe work practices and embrace our safety culture. In this role, you will follow the release schedule and take work requests from department supervisors and adjust based on system performance and the needs of the departments being supplied; must make frequent changes to the release schedule. Job Requirements: An ability to adopt our safety procedures quickly and ensure safe work practices An ability and willingness to perform basic housekeeping in assigned area of warehouse A strong working knowledge of technology including warehouse systems and ability to work on multiple screens An ability to solve problems and a keen attention to detail An ability and willingness to use a cutting knife, empty skids, wheeled carts, taper, scanner, and pallet jack An inclusive approach with your colleagues and customers to forge strong relationships and foster collaboration to resolve issues An ability to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations An ability to help to develop and test new wave rules Qualification & Experience: An ability to lift, push or pull boxes/merchandise weighing between 70 pounds and 100 pounds by hand Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications) You must be at least 18 years old Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed Previous experience with PKMS/ Sunbeam, Sunrise for Quality Report High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience As a Full-Time associate, you must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; additional overtime hours will be required based on business need Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally Job Details: Company: Staples Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Montgomery, NY, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here Careersvilla.com
