Job Description: The Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst role will involve solving complex business problems, providing data driven insights for those problems, and making recommendations that directly impact the business. The individual will use a broad range of skills to build analytic and reporting capabilities that enable our business partners to make better data-driven decisions. You will be involved in the development life cycle from gathering requirements, to developing quality interactive data visualizations. Also, creating and maintaining solutions (interactive analytic reports/dashboards) using industry leading visualization tools. You will be conducting exploratory analysis; designing and developing data extracts from source data using ETL tools such as Alteryx to identify new product insights and improve business expertise to answer complex business questions Job Responsibilities: Help identify gaps in data collection strategy that will enable further insights-driven capabilities Research and troubleshoot data questions and misinterpretations Become a contributor to the Business Intelligence community at Staples Act as a business partner, with the end user in mind, that will assist both Pricing and external departments in driving business decisions Effectively communicate information to technical and non-technical audiences Support ad-hoc analytical projects based on Staples strategic priorities Enhance the efficiency, automation, and accuracy of existing reports Qualification & Experience: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task is a must Proficient in enterprise-class business intelligence visualization tools; Tableau highly desirable Proactive and passionate about data integrity Comfortable working with a multi-functional team, both locally and remote, understanding the perspectives of each partner Works well in a dynamic environment – adaptability Basic understanding of SQL; understanding of Python or other languages a bonus Ability to summarize technical details to non-technical audience Bachelor's Degree (concentration in analytical-and/or financial-based areas such as business, accounting, or economics) 3+ years of experience in an analytics or finance related field Experience with data wrangling tools; Alteryx highly desirable Job Details: Company: Staples Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Framingham, MA, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here Careersvilla.com
