Job Description: Provide leadership, technical and analytical expertise in the formulation, implementation and on-going administration of the corporate supply chain strategic plan. Development and on-going administration of policies and procedures that set the framework for the management of the supply chain inventories in SAP. Leverages warehouse management in SAP to maintain inventory accuracy and deliver timely, safe and efficient service for field business partners. Job Responsibilities: Leads inventory management expert for business resumption planning (BRP), as it relates to disaster recovery and activation of the Supply Chain, procurement, inventory and logistics procedures. Advises department on SAP warehouse recovery and redundancy. Manages and administers the Company inventory data in SAP. Responsible for the integrity of the materials management system data for cataloging, parameters and formulas. Ensures adherence to corporate supply chain strategic plan through system monitoring. Advises on all changes, updates, modifications to the supply chain strategy. Supports special projects, new system designs and process/procedure modifications. Key advisor on all inventory management projects. All inventory management at Company runs through SAP. Formulates, implements, and administers on an on-going basis the corporate supply chain policies and procedures. Leads in the coordination and resolution of system interface issues and the materials management system. Expected to resolve all inventory management issues in SAP that are not IT related. Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties). Prepares, monitors, and report on performance metrics which compare the results of the supply chain process with industry benchmarks. Responsible to maintain SOX compliance and conduct the bi-annual management SOX tests. Job Requirements: Demonstrated written and oral communication skills. Intermediate Proficient in using PC base applications and the SAP materials management system. Advanced Strong analytical and mathematical skills required to interpret statistical data. Advanced Requires technical writing skills to convey complex system requirements to internal and external clients. Beginner Effective translation of system requirements and inventory management theories and methods into understandable terms for all employees. Intermediate Interpersonal communication skills and the ability to function as a team player necessary to manage the close linkages between this position and the rest of the supply chain. Intermediate Strong knowledge of supply chain management, distribution resource planning and inventory management concepts. Advanced Ability to write system instructions, policies and procedures in a clear and concise manner is essential. Intermediate Qualification & Experience: 5+ Experience in inventory control, materials management, SAP, logistics, purchasing, operations management, or related experience.
