Job Description:
As the Manager, Media Personalization and Testing, you own experimentation across all of Sephora’s Paid Media channels, as well as the development and execution of client-led strategies. Reporting to the Director, Media Personalization and Testing, you will be implementing innovative testing strategies in Paid Social, Display, Affiliate, SEM, SEO and Brand Media.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop new tactics to reach clients in personalized ways in Paid Media and proving out through testing

- Responsible for managing and developing direct report (Assistant Manager, Media Personalization and Testing)
- Evangelize a “test & learn” and “client-led” mindset with internal and external partners
- Partner with Channel/LoB (Line-of-Business) Owners on testing ideas and strategies, drive the Media Scrum roadmap, and design, brief and execute tests in partnership with Scrum Analytics, and Media agencies
- Collaborate with Director and cross-functional teams including CRM, Analytics, Market Research & Consumer Insights, Campaigns & Content, and Merchandising to identify opportunities to drive growth of Media Personalization
- Drive first party audience strategy by advising campaign owners on CRM segmentation for US and CA Evergreen and Co-op programs and oversee audience operations conducted by external vendor and Assistant Manager
Job Requirements:
- Strong business acumen and data driven mindset
- Self-starter with high degree of motivation, ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
- Familiarity with data structure, Boolean logic and marketing technologies, particularly CDPs, APIs, and Pixels
- Superior organizational skills, and ability to prioritize, work cooperatively and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an exceedingly fast paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills
- High proficiency in Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
Qualification & Experience:
- 4 year Bachelor’s degree
- Knowledge of Agile Marketing and Paid Media testing tools (e.g., Facebook Conversion Lift) and methodologies (e.g., Intent-to-Treat, Ghost Bids/Ads)
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in digital marketing; Cross-channel (Social, Display/Programmatic, Affiliate, SEM) background and prior experience executing Paid Media tests (e.g. Incrementality, Bidding, Creative and/or Audience tests) preferred
