Job Description:
Your role at Sephora… As our Sr. Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing Sephora’s high-performing personalized behavioral-based triggered and transactional email marketing programs and lead the evolution of our Direct Mail program. You will play a key role in the end-to-end development of client-centric and automated communication, with a focus on personalization and client loyalty. In this role, you will help develop best-in-class B2C marketing strategies that harness client loyalty based on data-driven insights to drive business goals and KPIs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Evangelize a “test & learn” mindset within Sephora and amongst our cross-functional partners.
- Utilize deep understanding of data structure, tables, and APIs to build dynamic email templates.
- Support Director to define opportunities or desired outcomes, determine required information, synthesize findings, and recommend action with key partners.
- Manage day to day relationships with our behavioral based third-party vendor and continually evaluate optimal customer segmentation and audience strategy.
- Manage and execute CRM tactics to increase customer LTV by driving engagement, retention, and purchasing frequency via communications that reflect Sephora’s brand value proposition, visual equity, and voice.
- Analyze email performance across KPIs; maintain and regularly communicate dashboard results. Leverage learnings to inform future campaign planning.
- Build and refine event-based triggers (online and store) and transactional campaigns across the entire customer funnel.
- Lead a small team and improve upon internal and external operational processes as needed.
- Monitor and report on health of trigger and transactional programs on a weekly basis.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive tactical execution for go-to-market campaigns.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work extremely well across functions, successfully bringing people together toward common goals and to consensus.
- Analytical and data-driven with experience tracking performance and optimizing metrics
- Hands on experience working with different data sets and understanding of data infrastructure.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills –able to articulate client-centric recommendations and influence decisions based on data and insights
- Flexible and adaptive, enjoys an ever-changing, dynamic work environment
- Self-motivated with an ability to prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously.
- Superb attention to detail with excellent organizational and project management skills.
Qualification & Experience:
- 7+ years planning and developing automated email campaigns.
- Experience with A/B, test and control, holdouts, and multivariate experiments.
- Knowledge and experience with HTML and content management tools.
