Job Description:

The Office of Information Technology is seeking candidates with extensive experience in enterprise and solutions architecture. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable of principles, concepts, and methods of enterprise architecture to align information technology (IT) strategy, plans, and systems with the mission, goals, structure, and processes of the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides oversight and technical leadership for an IT staff engaged in enterprise architecture
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and implement innovative technology solutions
  • Operationalizes the strategic approach for new technology projects, including the use of cloud, software-as-a-service, enterprise platforms and emerging technologies.
  • Leads efforts to consolidate, modernize and retire legacy technologies by charting the path forward for modern, efficient solutions that provide front-line staff with modern tools and resources to do their jobs.
  • Develops architecture for new technology projects that define the strategic direction (build v. buy, COTS v. custom, hosting location, platform / technology stack, cloud considerations, requirements for integration, etc.)
  • Consolidates, modernizes and retires legacy technologies.
