Job Description:

This is a critical role positioned within the International Finance team. The key focus is the provision of reliable, accurate and timely management information to measure the performance of the International markets, thus enabling Senior Management to track performance and make informed decisions. In addition to proactively researching and identifying opportunities to improve business results through increased cost efficiency and revenue. Working with the business to deliver such opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Annual operating plan process for the division for both sailed revenue and expenditure (operating & capital) across all International offices.
  • Administration & continued development of the Finance system (Hyperion Planning – Oracle PBCS). Train system users & will work closely with the in-market teams to streamline processes.
  • Maintain, develop and improve International Direct reporting including liaison with relevant stakeholders within the business.
  • Preparation and presentation of financial information to enable informed decision making across the International business. Including monthly decks and adhoc projects.
  • Partner the market Finance and Commercial teams to ensure correct financial procedures and controls are adhered to.
  • Reporting to the FP&A Manager and also providing close support to the International Finance Director.
  • Monitoring of commissions and reporting of performance against commercial terms plus tactical schemes.
  • Identification of and quantification of risks, trends and opportunities in all forecasts/plans.

Job Requirements:

  • Finance systems administration experience highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and able to prepare own analysis work
  • Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills and be able to work effectively with all levels of management
  • Demonstrate good level of Financial Modelling skills
  • Must have an interest in problem resolution and demonstrate a logical approach to resolving system issues
  • Travel industry knowledge/experience highly desirable

Qualification & Experience:

  • Good analytical degree and ‘A’ levels
  • CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified, or equivalent
  • Experience of using analytical or business intelligence tools strongly preferred (Hyperion)
  • Advanced Excel essential (Macro level) & experience of working in a heavy excel environment
