Job Description:

The Training Manager EMEA will be responsible for the development and deployment of the Trade Education Strategy for the EMEA region, alongside the continued evolution of the brands latest e-learning platform “LEARN”. The LEARN platform is in its early stages of development in the UK & Ireland – this needs to be developed quickly and effectively to become the best e-learning platform across EMEA.

Job Responsibilities:

  • A key part of the role will be taking the LEARN journey on the road across EMEA – with a view to ensuring that LEARN becomes the “go to” educational site for the Travel Trade. This will include taking opportunities to show case our developments at key Travel forums and Events.
  • Identify evaluation methods & build reporting for all stakeholders
  • Evaluate the LEARN platform and the quality of the 1st ten modules.
  • Develop a pipeline of learning modules, socialize with EMEA Leadership Team (ELT)and then make prioritization calls.
  • Project manage current & new enhancements & projects, creating various work streams & ensure ideas are fit for purpose
  • Make recommendations to key stakeholders based on findings & include solutions to any potential challenges that exist.
  • Evaluate all processes related to LEARN, make recommendations that focus on simplicity & cost effectiveness
  • Implement PR & promotion techniques to build knowledge and usage of LEARN both in the UK & Ireland, as well as wider EMEA markets following launch
  • Ensure LEARN is effectively linked to Club Rewards (royalty scheme) ensuring the process is seamless & the journey is simplified for the travel agents.

Job Requirements:

  • Ideal – Knowledge of elearning platform builds
  • Mandatory – CIPD qualified or equivalent (will accept CV’s that are currently on a course)
  • Project Management – implements & manages simple processes with a methodical & clear approach. Implements ideas related to achieving stakeholder needs & project objectives
  • Accountability of their approach & effect on outcome is key
  • Facilitator – confident, engaging, credible & able to adapt to learner’s style & needs
  • Mandatory proven history and / or qualification in eLearning projects including the design and / or management of eLearning
  • Ideal – History of working in a Travel Agency or within the Travel industry
  • Mandatory to have been in a ‘Training’ or ‘project development’ role for a minimum of 2 years
  • Stakeholder Management – communicates & influences stakeholders. Persuades with clarity & energy taking others on the journey
  • Communication skills – considers & delivers relevant communication keeping people up to date ensuring every area is aligned & that they understand & are brought into the actions
