Job Description:

As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Cargo Sales Team in Miami as a Senior Cargo Sales Executive.

Job Responsibilities:

• Preparing a Business and Marketing plan in order to optimize revenue opportunities and maximize Qatar Airways (QR) presence in the market
• Coordinate all customers claims with the support of Head Office Cargo Claims Department and ensure that all claims received and replied to and / or resolve
• Protect existing business and constantly explore new opportunities
• Achieve / exceed budgeted revenues for assigned territory / customer portfolio
• Provide regular sales & marketing intelligence reports to follow-up on business opportunities and implement specific action plan
• Planning, implementing and controlling all selling and marketing activities within the station and penetrating the local market to secure new sources of revenues and surpass the revenue targets
• Create maximum awareness of QR Cargo products and services
• Supplement sales calls made by the Sales Force to establish contacts and maximize Qatar Airways’ exposure to the marketplace
• Assist customers with all the information related to bookings/forwarding/delivery to ensure a quality customer service and enhance the services provided by QR Cargo
• Visit regularly existing and new potential customers to generate maximum revenues by providing complete sales and after sales services, and encourages them to generate more business on QR

Qualification & Experience:

• Microsoft office skills (Word/PowerPoint/Excel)
• Strong presentation, negotiation and customer service skills
• Knowledge of IATA/ TACT Regulations
• Minimum of 4 years of job-related experience preferably within air freight industry
• Complete product knowledge and the market practices of the areas of jurisdiction
• Fluency in written and spoken English/Spanish
