Job Description:
You will serve as a CIVIL ENGINEER (STRUCTURAL) NAVAL FACILITIES ENG COMMAND ATLANTIC. The selectee for this position will serve as a Civil Engineer (Structural) located at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti Africa.
This position is a 100% TDY position at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Africa.
** Above salary does not include locality. Locality adjustment will be determined by duty station location once a selection has been made. **
Job Responsibilities:
- Develops working drawing/specifications for design bid build projects and Request for Proposal (RFP) to accomplish design and construction projects.
- Coordinates the activities of the architects, engineers and planners involved with each project to ensure the completion of the diverse specialty areas.
- Reviews and approves all Government-required technical submittals contracts (e.g. design drawings, product selection, environmental protection plans, schedules, and quality control plans) to ensure contracts are submitted in a timely manner.
- Creates new and improved applications of engineering or architecture concepts to accomplish organization requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
