Job Description:
Utilize knowledge of industry, product, process and systems to provide high quality customer service to plan sponsors, sales and marketing team members, and other internal/external associates. Understand market environment and customer needs and develop solutions to best meet their needs and contributes to growth in Pension Closeout business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead an informational meeting or conference call within two weeks of contract sale to ensure clients are fully educated on the overall MetLife service model and the implementation process
- Proactively communicates implementation progress and identifies/ communicates any potential concerns with internal and external customers
- Leverages partnerships to proactively develop innovative customer-focused solutions, and coach others to support customer focused service model.
- Demonstrate knowledge of product, operations, and market environment and applies this knowledge to contract development
- Leverages product and operational knowledge to make recommendations to the customer, intermediary, and sales partner that directly impact business growth
- Identify and lead in implementation of preventative measures that may be needed to prevent reoccurrence of a customer or audit issues
- Interpret contracts to make recommendations/decisions for situations not explicitly defined by contract
- Lead and motivate project team members during the implementation process, as well providing work direction to overall team
- Serve as relationship manager to the client on all aspects regarding Closeout Group Annuity Contract implementation.
- Working independently, manage the implementation and client relationship for closeout sales to ensure that all aspects of the new contract implementation process are completed in a timely and accurate manner

Qualification & Experience:
- Understands the function and purpose of all the major technological tools used by the company
- Has extensive experience in several phases of the insurance support process
- Can explain the competitive environment within which MetLife operates
- Reads and comprehends industry trends and applies this knowledge when discussing or servicing a case
- Has worked extensively to support several different functions of the insurance business
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience, 6 years related experience
- Understands the major needs and expectations of most customers
