Job Description:

The associate will be a critical member of Investments IT Risk & Compliance team supporting the Investments line of business. The ideal candidate will have experience within investment management and a passion for IT Risk and Information Security. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a strong sense of customer service, who finds the MetLife culture compelling and will readily assimilate into the environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage initiatives related to IT Risk, audit for Investments IT to comply with corporate Information Security related standards, policies, and applicable regulations
  • Be the liaison between global Investments IT Risk/Audit function and Investments Technology
  • Evaluate & recommend controls for operational processes supporting new initiatives for DevSecOps, Cloud migration
  • Partner with Enterprise security to provide industry best practices guidance related to security/control requirements and global regulatory changes affecting Investments IT
  • Govern technology audits and drive timely closure of audit findings
  • Drive appropriate future state IT controls for new projects
  • Govern Information Lifecycle Governance awareness and best practices
  • Security metrics ownership and management reporting
  • Assess impact of risk and security control breaks/deficiencies on Investment platforms and client interactions
  • Provide oversight for enterprise initiatives such as vulnerability management, risk assessments, business continuity planning, information lifecycle management, vendor security assessments to keep Investments IT Security compliant

Job Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to assess security architecture designs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication to liaise with senior management
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines, while maintaining accuracy
  • Strong accountability, highly organized, and constantly looking for improvement opportunities
  • 5+ Years of experience working in an IT Risk function within a financial services firm

Qualification & Experience:

  • Technical experience with PowerBI, SharePoint
  • Knowledge of software tools such as AzDO, Veracode, Open Pages and Archer (or related tools)
  • Technical IT background & SOX controls
  • Understanding of Agile methodology
