Job Description:

The role focuses on Enterprise Cash Management and Liquidity Stress Testing, which are key to the organization’s key financial metrics. This person will partner across the company to manage cash and liquidity to meet investor expectations and protect MetLife’s safety and soundness under stress. This position reports to the SVP, Capital Strategy & Planning, and is part of a team responsible for management of the Enterprise’s capital, liquidity, holding company cash, free cash flow and external advocacy for rating agencies, regulators and other stakeholders globally. The group, and Corporate Treasury more broadly, offers a rich environment in which to grow and learn across a range of businesses, geographies, functions and subjects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Leads analysis of the holding company liquidity buffer requirement, including scenario analysis to assist executive decision-making
• Responsible for generating liquidity stress testing results for regulators, Board and senior management using MetLife’s liquidity stress testing system
• Enterprise Cash Management, including projections of free cash flow, holding company cash and liquidity, and coordination of transaction execution (dividends, contributions, and others)
• Generates and monitors liquidity Early Warning Indicators and MetLife contingent funding sources to support MetLife’s Liquidity Working Group

Job Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to influence others with different backgrounds and levels
• 5-6 years experience in Finance, Treasury or Insurance
• Able to understand and improve processes
• Strong project management and leadership skills

Qualification & Experience:

• Undergraduate degree, CFA or ASA beneficial
• High personal impact, self-starter, critical thinker
• Team player – ability to develop and sustain effective relationships across the company
