Job Description:

Under general supervision, provide support for internal customers in the implementation or enhancement of IT solutions for business processes and to serve as plant liaison for Centers of Competence for Daimler applications used at our location.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, plan, design, develop, and deploy testing techniques for new applications, products, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout their development/product lifecycles.
  • Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
  • Accompany and support business requirement specification process when requested.
  • Analyze, describe, and design applications/business processes in order to meet current and future MBUSI and Daimler business requirements.
  • Maintain a current, in-depth knowledge of the given application and all aspects related to business functional units supported. Keep up with industry trends in supported business units and related disciplines through self-study and formal training.
  • Understand the value-chains of the customers. Support and advise the internal customer while forming an effective interface between the business department and IT, i.e. consult with business and service manager to develop technical solutions to meet business needs.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Technically competent with various software programs for presentations (MS Office) & data analytics.
  • Co-Op/ internship and/ or up to 2 years’ professional experience in the following area(s): IT Function
  • Well-developed analytical skills.
  • Team player with ability to resolve issues both business and technical.
  • Basic agile project management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and establish direction.
  • SAP knowledge and experience an advantage
  • This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain/Operations Management, Computer Engineering/Computer Science, Business Administration or related area or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to adapt and adjust to changing schedules to meet project requirements and milestones.
