Job Description:

We are currently looking for an experienced Parts Supervisor to be based at our Croydon site

Job Responsibilities:

• Recruit, coach and appraise team to ensure they are operating to full potential. Address any underperformance in line with company processes
• Ensure that the Parts team keep the working environment clean and tidy at all times including all customer facing areas
• To supply service department with outstanding levels of service including team working, pre-picking, delivery of parts to service bays
• Take actions to sustain and enhance levels of customer satisfaction
• Promote the Parts Department facilities and services to maintain and increase sales to customers through workshop, retail and trade outlets
• Control stock checks in line with Company procedures as well as audit the stock of oil within the department to ensure full commercial availability
• Ensure external customer satisfaction particularly with regard to parts and supply information
• Agree clear targets and ensure all team members are clear on their responsibilities
• Market and grow the Parts Trade business in conjunction with the Parts Trade Manager and Parts Representatives
• Respond promptly to any customer complaints and ensure timely and correct resolution

Job Requirements:

• Sound knowledge of the automotive industry
• Proven leadership and team management experience
• Proven numerical skills
• Full and clean driving licence
• IT literate
• Previous experience of running medium-large scale parts operation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of budget and financial reporting
