The Division of Waste Management (DWM) is looking for an Environmental Scientist I to join their team and fill a full-time, permanent position. This position is located in the Bowling Green Regional Office and it is part of the Division of Waste Management Field Operations Branch. If you enjoy inspecting and investigating facilities to determine compliance, this is a job for you.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct entry level environmental scientific inspections and investigations of sites regulated by DWM.
  • Evaluate facility notifications and public complaints of permitted an un-permitted facilities.
  • Provide technical assistance and information concerning DWM laws and regulations to the regulated community.
  • Participate in enforcement activities, case preparation, and collection of scientific samples to document violations.
