Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining the fixed assets register and liaising with key stakeholders to ensure assets have been accounted for correctly.
  • Responsible for supplying the auditors with the yearend schedules required to support a successful year-end clean audit report.
  • Support tax analysis as and when required.
  • Apply business and accounting knowledge to make sense of the transactions and challenge when necessary.
  • Responsible for ensuring all transactions booked into the financial system are accurate and correctly posted for each legal entity in line with the GAAPs applicable.
  • Responsible for all financial reporting processes in their control, ensuring that it is effective, with good controls in place and that each process is well documented. At all times the processes should lead to accurate and timely recording and reporting, in line with accounting and tax regulations
  • Keep up to date with changes in accounting and tax legislation and then ensure the Reporting function is compliant with the requirements of these changes.
  • Responsible for producing timely and accurate reconciliations of all accounts in their control at each period end.
  • Responsible for providing accurate and informative analysis with commentary for all accounts in their control at period end.
  • Support Ad hoc finance projects.

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills can communicate confidently and clearly in English.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft excel (vlook up and pivotable)
  • Self-reliant and self-motivated with a proven ability to work as part of a team and independently across organizational and geographical boundaries.
  • Strong ability to prioritize, provide clear directions, and multi-task.
  • 5-7 years with increased responsibility in accounting or finance-related fields.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Accounting / Finance / Economics or a related field.
  • Experience in a larger international structure.
  • Fully Qualified Accountant with Intercompany experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience in core accounting needs
  • Strong knowledge and experience in accounts receivable & income management
