GM Careers – Maintenance Business Planner

Job Description:

Our team is looking for a Maintenance Business Planner to lead the maintenance group leaders and coordinator(s), interact closely with the skilled trades and other functional groups such as engineering, production, materials and quality. Additionally, you will be a driver of throughput initiatives, downtime support, root cause analysis along with maintenance operation activities such as PDCA’s, audits, training and scheduling.

Job Responsibilities:

• Attend weekly Engineering meeting
• Attend pre-shift and end-of-shift meeting
• Throughput reports and monthly Plan Do Check Act checklists
• Compliance training and other training scheduling, planning
• Global Manufacturing System basket-weave meetings (PI)
• Open work order audit, review, organization, follow ups
• Global Manufacturing System lead for maintenance
• Open Countermeasure tracking, review, assign, follow-up meetings
• Provide technical support during emergency breakdowns
• Pre-Shift and Post-Shift prep – audit PSRs, assign prod requests, etc.

Job Requirements:

• Understand Environmental Requirements of Area
• Knowledge of Standardized Work (JES / SOS / TIS)
• Knowledge of Plant Health and Safety Policies and Procedures
• Computer Skills (Excel, SharePoint, Access, Team Center etc.)
• SAP: Indirect Material Purchasing
• Knowledge of Shop Floor Quality Systems
• Plant Floor Systems
• Two-year degree or professional certification in a related field
