Job Description: As an Instrumentation Calibration Technician your primary duties consist of the following: Instrumentation/Test Equipment Calibration, Scheduled Maintenance on Instrumentation/Test Equipment, Repair and Troubleshooting of Instrumentation/Test Equipment associated with testing performed in an automotive test environment at the Milford Proving Grounds Emissions Test Lab. Job Responsibilities: Accurately recoding calibration results for record retention purposes Calibrating, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide variety of instrumentation/test equipment Using and creating standardized work documents Participating in safety activities to meet or exceed organizational goals and expectations Problem solving with the goal to permanently eliminate instrumentation/equipment failures Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others internally and externally Job Requirements: Must be willing to work any shift including alternative work schedules Associates Degree or equivalent Be an active participant of developing and maintaining a culture of professionalism that focuses on teamwork skills, ability to learn from co-workers and share knowledge with co-workers in a fast-paced environment Troubleshoot and repair complex systems Demonstrates innovative thinking that is customer-centric Associates Degree in Electronics or Mechatronics Read and understand electrical and pneumatic schematics Minimum of 2 years of experience in Instrumentation related Test equipment calibration, repair, and troubleshooting Possess good interpersonal, computer, oral, and written skills Job Details: Company: General Motors Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Milford, MI, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here Careersvilla.com
