Job Description:
We are looking to hire a “Control Room Analyst” for 3rd Shift within Global Supply Chain, on the Production Control Team working out of Oshawa Assembly location. The Control Room Analyst monitors and analyzes order flow through assembly plant and serves as main point of contact for a variety of plant floor requests and issues related to production processes and information control systems. Work is primarily in an office environment and shift work is required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform print quality inspection, information verification, sequence order verification of all VINS and reprint labels, documents as necessary due to quality issues or plant request
- Monitor production information control system and ensure optimal performance
- Verify, report out daily production numbers and track expedited orders through assembly
- Enforce, adhere to strict security procedures related to handling and distribution of VIN labels
- Deliver training and administrative support to users of production information control system
- Coordinate and implement 3rd party vendor disaster recovery procedures
- Troubleshooting and providing technical support to production and 3rd party organizations as needed
- Responsible for running batch jobs to sequence vehicle orders, perform vehicle build data updates
- Create, update, and maintain system reporting and documentation
- Maintain, monitor batch jobs in mainframe and production information control systems
Job Requirements:
- Process oriented with focus on continuous improvement
- Quick learner, able to adapt quickly in production critical manufacturing environment
- Ability to work under pressure
- Extreme attention to detail
- Successful candidates will be required to attest to, and be prepared to provide proof of, their vaccination status and that any job offer will be conditional on the candidate being fully vaccinated.
- Comfortable working steady 3rd shift
- Effective communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Computer literacy, experience in IT
- Knowledge, experience working with GM systems (GEPICS, MGO, Cimplicity)
