Job Description: The Recycling Processor is responsible for the recycling of Styrofoam, cardboard and plastic film (commodities recycling). They ensure that key processing tasks are completed and that recycling areas are maintained in a clean and orderly manner. Job Responsibilities: Ensures all recycling areas are maintained in a clean and orderly manner. Performs Daily inspection of processing equipment and notify leadership of any issues. Ensures all recycled appliances are organized properly on the designated trailer to maximize space and prevents damage to the units. Ensures Styrofoam, plastics, and cardboard is processed efficiently with no product quality defects or load rejections. Moves and stages processed materials for loading into trailers. Loads processed Styrofoam, plastics, and cardboard onto assigned trailers for shipment. Processes Clean Styrofoam in densifier. Cleans Styrofoam by removing tape, plastic, paper and cardboard prior to processing. Unload and sort transfer trucks returning from stores and delivery pads which contain recyclables. Processes clean cardboard and plastics in baler. Job Requirements: Able to individually lift and maneuver 35 lbs frequently and repetitively (up to a maximum of 75 lbs; with or without reasonable accommodation).
