Job Description: The Lead Developer, Care Operations enables Care the organization take better informed business decisions through their work. This individual acts as a SME for the business providing routine business analysis using various techniques, e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory, and data mining on Customer Care data. This person is responsible for completing data requests for the Care Organization using SQL and statistical analysis They will work to automate recurring tasks, enhancing the team’s efficiency, and mentoring junior team member to advance their skills with BI Dashboard development. The Lead Developer will work end-to-end in designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards by collaborating with stakeholders. The Lead Developer role will require a broad understanding of our products and business and data landscape, ability to design reports and have strong analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills. This individual must have adaptivity to apply skills to new tools and is expected to exemplify Best Buy Health’s core values and behaviors on a daily basis Job Responsibilities: Anticipate future demands related to people, technology, budget or operations and design/implement solutions to meet these needs Mentor junior team members to advance their skills in developing BI dashboards. Support adhoc data requests using SQL and statistical analysis Work end-to end to design, build, develop, and maintain cutting edge automated dashboards that show real-time and historical performance, including Service levels, adherence, staffing and other real time objectives across the Caring Center department Develop comprehensive tools that allow data to be transformed into business insights to enable informed high-level decision making and strategic planning Create and own metrics / reporting /dashboards and finance models for business decision support Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables by developing and maintaining quality controls and departmental standards Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities Automate recurring tasks, making frequently requested data sources more quickly accessible for business leaders Serve as a role model to your team and others by demonstrating and promoting the Best Buy Health values and guiding behaviors Qualification & Experience: Experience with creation and ownership of metrics / reporting /dashboards and/or finance models for business decision support 3 years progressive hands-on experience in business intelligence, reporting and analytics Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field Knowledge of relational and dimensional database structures, theories, principals and practice Demonstrated ability to understand new datasets and data structures Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) 2 years working experience with Tableau, Power BI or other Visualization Software Strong business acumen to help correlate numbers to business insights and outcomes 2 years working with relational database concepts and intermediate knowledge and experience working with SQL Job Details: Company: Geek Squad Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: San Diego, CA, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here Careersvilla.com
