Job Description:
The connectivity test team is looking for a passionate tester to join the Enterprise Connectivity organization to help us design and build the best infotainment system in the market.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support existing automation systems with bug fixes and updates as needed
- Perform automated test results analysis, root cause issues and validate fixes
- Work closely with development and test teams to understand feature functionality and test requirements
- Collaborate closely with other software testers, product owners, and developers in an agile environment.
- Ensure automated test execution is running smoothly
- Maintain lab test nodes and phones that executes hundreds of tests every day
- Develop automated test scripts and related tools in Python to verify new feature functionality
Qualification & Experience:
- Experience with CAN networks, Shell scripting, GitHub, Linux development environment.
- Experience with iOS testing and automation development
- Experience with Android app development and testing
- Experience with Python automated testing environment and frameworks such as Slash
- 5+ years work experience
- Experience with continuous integration system (Jenkins)
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, software engineering or related field (Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required.)
- Experience with UI level of testing (ie: Squish, Appium)
- 3+ years experience in Python development
- 3+ years work experience
