Job Description: In this position you will be a key enabler in the development of autonomous vehicle technologies at the Ford AV, LLC by owning the build and deployment pipelines for multiple AV projects. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with delivering development enablement solutions is required. This role involves maintaining and expanding the processes for automated build and deployment execution used by Ford AV software developers and test engineers. You’ll be part of a dedicated team focused on executing applied research and bringing those ideas to market. Job Responsibilities: Scale the existing pipelines to support significant execution volume, optimizing to balance speed and cost Maintain knowledge and act as a resident authority on software build and release tools and techniques Work closely with the AV LLC team to deliver solutions to support development of software products Provide recommendations for dev enablement pipeline design and tool selection, optimally utilizing available services Own the development pipelines and ensure processes are robust, efficient, secure, and highly available Assist with software artifact version control and storage management Maintain and expand an existing software CI/CD pipeline for automated building, testing, and deployment of AV software product lines Work closely with software developers to ensure that solutions appropriately support all development test and release use cases Qualification & Experience: Solid understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment methodologies 2+ years of software development experience in a modern programming language such as Python, C++, Java, etc. Experience working in a Linux environment Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Computer Network & Systems Administration, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering Experience developing with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, Ruby, etc. Solid familiarity with software automation services such as Jenkins, Harness, Gradle, etc. BS+ in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field Demonstrated experience designing and maintaining software build / test / release pipelines Experience with software version control tools such as git, svn, etc. 2+ years of experience supporting a production software CI/CD pipeline Job Details: Company: Ford Motor Company Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Ann Arbor, MI, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here Careersvilla.com
