Job Responsibilities:
- Planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting and adjusting short-term priorities, and preparing schedules for completion of work; assigning work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees; evaluating work performance of subordinates.
- Deciding on the acceptability, rejection, or correction of work products or services, and similar matters which may affect payment to the contractor.
- Performing procurement planning to develop objectives in terms of competition and price range, and constructs the contractual vehicle including use of pricing arrangements, subcontracting policy, set-aside policies, and similar considerations.
- Carrying out procurements involving a number of different processes or elements resulting in extensive subcontracting. Analyzing benefits and costs of accomplishing work in-house versus contracting including recommending whether to contract.
Job Requirements:
- You must be a U.S. Citizen to be considered for this position.
- You must successfully pass a background investigation.
- Selective Service registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- You must be able to obtain and maintain a Government credit card.
