Job Description:

This role is about building capability for our store team members across Scotland and the North. You will be joining a team of passionate learning professionals who work collectively to inspire our people to learn, collaborate and develop enabling all of our people to take the next step on their journey with us here at Costa Coffee

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging learning interventions using a range of classroom and virtual classroom techniques to embed learning. You will effectively deploy the learning cycle ensuring the 70-20-10 module is embedded in all solutions
• Be a natural coach who is comfortable coaching Store manager within a retail operations environment, help them to connect leadership behaviour to store based results
• Through insight analysis and consultations with our Regional Operations Directors and People Partners you will build quarterly learning plans that support the development of capability in your region
• Provide timely feedback and evaluation of solutions to learning designers or external learning providers to maximise ROI on any learning solutions. You will also use this data and insight to influence the Area Managers to coach and grow their teams
• Be the learning expert for key stakeholders, ensuring you continually externally scan and bring the outside in to suggest solutions that build capability over a period which are saleable and measurable

Job Requirements:

• Experience of field based working and/or multisite experience essential
• You’ll be excellent at coaching and influencing your stakeholders, able to manager upwards and have experience of utilising data to support your recommendations
• You will have experience of implementing structured learning plans that utilise a blended approach to learning
• You’ll possess a wide range of learning theories across leadership of others and leadership of self
• You can demonstrate a strong background in L&D, specifically learning delivery, ideally from within a retail or hospitality environment
• This is a busy role so strong organisational skills, or even experience of delivering learning programmes/projects would be beneficial
