Job Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, Financial Review Unit Manager, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) is responsible for working closely with operators, county Assessor offices, the Board of Equalization, and California Geologic Energy Management Division (CalGEM) district offices to verify and validate information procured by oil and gas operator’s submittal of plug and abandonment cost analysis, liability reports, and the expansion of the Division’s Idle Wells Program. The incumbent must demonstrate a high degree of independence, innovative ideas, creativity, and critical thinking.
