Job Description: The Senior Manager, SMP Process & Governance will play a critical role on the newly formed Sales, Marketing, and Product (SMP) team. This role is responsible for working with the Executive Director of SMP Planning to help ensure the Sales, Marketing, and Product team shows up in a unified way to customers, employees, and partners. This role will work closely within SMP and other XGIE teams to deliver an operating model that ensures seamless collaboration and clarity across the organization. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the business operating model, experience in planning and process, and has a proven track record of fostering strong cross-functional team collaboration. Candidates should possess strong strategic and analytical thinking skills with a demonstrable track record of successfully building new organizational processes, helping to successfully drive alignment across a large matrixed organization. You are a process oriented, relationship builder, who excels in a fast-paced environment. Success in this role will be based on collaborating with the entire SMP org, internal cross-functional teams, such as TPX, PMO, Care, CXT, Product Performance, Divisions, and other executive teams to ensure successful coordination and clarity for organizational roles, deliverables and GTM processes. Established understanding of overall business, planning and Xfinity product knowledge is critical. Job Responsibilities: Consults with leadership team regarding strategy, content, design and production of all marketing materials and is responsible for ensuring accuracy of content before being communicated. Supporting the ED, SMP Planning and is a critical lead to the SMP SLT in delivering organizational change and coordination of deliverables across the SMP team. Directs agencies and local resources to design targeted acquisition campaigns for diverse marketplace. Manages the creative development of all marketing tactics for each marketing campaign and program, including: direct mail, brochures, web content, sales letters, flyers, newsletters, newspaper and radio advertising and other projects. Liaison with other XGIE teams to deliver on new ways of working and ensure SMP team shows up in a unified way across the organization Managing all key ways of working initiatives across SMP teams to support the improvement and development of existing and new processes that span multiple areas of the business, supporting the overall SMP organization. Driving collaboration within the team, by building new processes and practices e.g. Ensuring visibility for key work deliverables across the teams, building a central repository, developing new templates. Works with area, division and corporate contacts within the Company to assure consistency of brand voice, messaging and outreach efforts. Collaborates with appropriate personnel to execute Marketing Communications strategies that advertise the Company's new and existing products or services across all media. Helping to deliver on a new operating model that ensures clarity & alignment of roles, deliverables, and handoffs across teams, tracking towards SMP vision Job Requirements: Strong understanding of marketing and product development and the procedures and tools used. Internal Comcast experience preferred (within the Divisions and/or HQ) a plus “Lead by example” mentality that promotes collaboration, openness and accountability with her/his team, other departments, and external partners. Ability to analyze and leverage information from multiple sources to reconcile, plan and optimize. Excellent process and planning skills with an appetite for solving complex business challenges; Superpowers for synthesizing and defining organizational processes to support business strategy.
