Job Description:

This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Clinical Standards and Quality (CCSQ). As a Executive Support Specialist, GS-0301-9/11, you will provide direct support to program leadership in the front office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Arrange and schedule meetings for CCSQ leadership which includes the ability to process availability, communication, and information that should be prepared and made available for such meetings.
  • Provide excellent customer service as a public-facing member of a senior leadership team, including the introduction and coordination of multiple industry professional group, executive leader, and consumer focused meetings.
  • Serve as time keeper for the CCSQ front office.
  • Manage all travel arrangements for CCSQ leadership whose schedules often have competing demands.
  • Review and monitor outgoing material for signature of the Director to ensure that it conforms to established standards, that appropriate procedures are followed, and that deadlines are met.
