Job Description:
Job Responsibilities:
- Plans, directs, and reviews the activities of the assigned program/division.
- Supervises assigned staff.
- Monitors activities and ensures compliance with State and local policies.
- Develops and administers division budget.
- Develops, implements, and updates strategy for community outreach.
- Coordinates purchase of equipment and supplies.
- Monitors changes in local demographics and adjusts program to effectively target eligible individuals.
- Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with preferable coursework in Counseling, Health, Education, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
- Five (5) years of health program experience, to include three (3) years of administrative/managerial experience.
- Bilingual in Spanish (read and write).
- Registered Dietitian and/or Master’s Degree.
- 5 years of WIC experience.
- 5 years of management experience.
