Job Description:
As an Inspector General Auditor with the CIA, you will conduct performance, financial statement, financial-related, and information systems audits of CIA programs and activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspector General (IG) Auditor responsibilities include developing and writing audit guides; developing and documenting audit findings in accordance with generally accepted government auditing standards; and developing audit conclusions and recommendations designed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of CIA operations. Auditors will also conduct or support other OIG functions as required. Travel may be required.
- Working in the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) allows for growth beyond a particular area of expertise and the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the intricacies of CIA management.
Job Requirements:
- All applicants must successfully complete a thorough medical and psychological exam, a polygraph interview, and a comprehensive background investigation.
- US citizenship required (dual national US citizens are eligible).
- All positions require relocation to the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
- All applicants must generally not have used illegal drugs within the last twelve months. The issue of illegal drug use prior to twelve months ago is carefully evaluated during the medical and security processing.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields or related studies is required:
- Information systems.
- Business Management.
- Finance.
- Accounting.
