Job Description:
This position is responsible for crew and equipment transportation to and from jobsites, track maintenance, operating company vehicles, labor in the performance of track construction, inspection and repair of the track and other railroad property/facilities, equipment operation and maintenance, and maintaining housekeeping of company vehicles.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper truck and equipment maintenance
- Operate 26,000+ lbs. trucks
- Submit required paperwork for truck repairs or welding equipment
- Work with vehicle repair vendors to complete necessary repairs in a timely manner
Job Requirements:
- Able to work safely in the above working conditions
- Able to meet the above travel requirements
- 21 years of age or older
- Able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to report for duty at the designated work location
- Able to work the above shift/hours
- Able to read, write and communicate (speak, hear and understand) in English
