Job Description: The terms and conditions of this position are covered by the TWU/IAM Fleet Employee Association. Fleet Service Agents perform the handling of items on and off aircraft, carts, containers, and trucks; transporting items between terminals and aircraft; receiving, delivering, weighing and documenting of cargo in a cargo specific facility (warehouse) or a loading dock area. Job Responsibilities: Tow and pushback aircraft from gates Drive and operate belt loaders Service aircraft lavatories and water ports Position beverage and luggage carts around the ramp area Work shifts that include irregular and/or extended hours, weekends and holidays. Move baggage and cargo of various weights to and from aircraft Service aircraft at gates with ground power and air conditioning Clean interior of aircraft when needed Works outdoors in various weather conditions Qualification & Experience: Applicable valid driver’s license as required by local authorities Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable Good communication skills High school diploma or GED or international equivalent Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable People-oriented and highly motivated, with a positive and cooperative attitude Must be 18 years of age or older Ability to obtain jet bridge certification Lift, load, unload, and transport bags and cargo to/from aircraft's, bag carts, and conveyor belts Completion of a pre-employment drug screen, comprehensive background check and/or fingerprinting to satisfy company and security requirements Job Details: Company: American Airlines Vacancy Type: Part Time Job Location: Salt Lake City, UT, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here Careersvilla.com
